Pod Brooklyn, hotel in Brooklyn

The Pod Hotel Brooklyn is located 2113 feet from the Music Hall of Williamsburg and 3169 feet from State of New York – East River State Park.

The Pod is a perfect hotel for a week away. Though the rooms are small (double room), the bed was super comfortable and the room quiet. We loved the location, super easy to get anywhere (+ the ferry). The staff was helpful. There was an amazing offer of restaurant and coffees in the surrounding area. We would come here again !

The William Vale, hotel in Brooklyn

With a 60-feet rooftop swimming pool and an award winning chef overseeing the dining options on offer, The William Vale offers accommodations in Williamsburg, across the East River from Manhattan.

Everything about my stay was exceptional. The welcome, service, room and hotel design, etc. Overall, the staff make The William Vale special. They treat guests like family and the joy with which they approach their work shows how much they love what they do and where they work. People to recognize: Sara and Angie in Concierge, Angie at the restaurant Leuca, Melanie at reception, Tshay in housekeeping, and Edwin at the door. Thank you for making my stay so special and making The William Vale my home away from home.

FAQs about hotels in Brooklyn

The Giant of New York

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!

The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.

On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.

At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.

Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.

What Guests Said About Brooklyn:

  • 10
    Scored 10

Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth.

Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth. Old, new, rich, not-so-rich. Every cuisine and kind of neighborhood. Prospect Park is in great shape and safe. The new(ish) waterfront parks by the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights are in super condition and have great view of lower Manhattan. Walking the bridge is a really highlight. So much more reasonable than staying in Manhattan too, and just a really short subway ride to all the best lower Manhattan attractions and neighborhoods. People have a lot of crazy ideas that big cities are bad and broken in the USA. It’s just not true in Brooklyn. It’s a great place that’s better than it was 20-30 years ago.

Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline,...

Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline, especially when timing with the sunset. Plenty of places to eat. We had a 10 minute walk from our hotel in Dyker Heights to the nearest subway and there were loads of shops, eating places and cafes - including the likes of Victoria's Secrets and Saphora, so I expect the area to be growing and becoming more popular.

The deposit is not clear, and it is not mentioned on...

The deposit is not clear, and it is not mentioned on booking.com. - Staff are kind but for me one staff was racist and I was shouted at and humiliated just for asking to send an invoice. - I recommend the customer service is not that good as it destroyed the image creating a very unsafe environment for me as a customer. - The management needs more personnel for the night shift because, during my stay with the receptionist, I felt unsafe and no one else was present to reassure the staff; instead, my brother had to gently remove me and lead me to the lift. -The rooms are really small and the shower and toilets are in a very small space, for family members sharing a room is very difficult. I would only recommend it if you have a short stay there and I do not recommend it for European travellers as the deposit thing looks like a scam. The currency converter was a bit weird too. I ended up paying 100€ extra and still waiting for my deposit.

Brooklyn is a vibrant, hip, and inclusive section of NYC.

Brooklyn is a vibrant, hip, and inclusive section of NYC. Parts of it remind me of the 60-70’s culture with a lot more money and style. People are busy but enjoy city life together at night. Brooklyn has a definite cool vibe. I felt it was an intelligent community and safe.

Great place that's evolved into a diverse chill environment. Sure it's still the hustle bustle of Manhattan but it's more family oriented and less precious. You don't have to leave BK to enjoy food, culture and shopping. The museums and history is right there, along with sports and activities.

Really polite staff at quite a suitable location in Williamsburg. Not the biggest rooms but they are clean, equipped with AC, Smart-TV and fast internet. Walking distance to the metro, supermarket, bars and restaurants - which the hotel has discounted deals within the nearby area. It's also easy to reach and walk over the bridge to reach the buzzy parts of the city. Hotell also have a lounge, rental bike for free) deposit $200) and chillout areas. The Hoxton is in a great location in Williamsburg and it's right in the heart of everything. Getting into Manhattan on the subway was straightforward once we got the hang of it. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is really stylish and the lobby is really cosy, especially at Christmas. The WiFi worked well and the coffee and snacks in the room were really nice. The bed was amazing and huge. The sunrise over Brooklyn was stunning from the 9th floor.

This is a budget tourist hotel set in an industrial part of Brooklyn with resulting high levels of street noise. The hotel is not quite as modern as it appears in the photos and is a a little tired. However it is close to the subway and has several good local bars, cafes and stores nearby. It is also good value compared to other hotels nearby. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
